About Shandon Neighborhood

Welcome to Shandon, one of Columbia's oldest and largest in-town neighborhoods. This diverse community offers easy access to popular shopping and entertainment districts, and its convenient location allows residents to walk or bike to the University of South Carolina campus.

As you wander the streets of Shandon, you'll find a wide variety of unique homes, ranging from traditional four-square and brick houses to craftsman and bungalow styles. This neighborhood is home to a mix of residents, including retirees, young families, and college students, all drawn to the tree-lined streets, neighborhood parks, and wide sidewalks that make Shandon feel like a haven from the bustle of city life.

Whether you're a seasoned local or a newcomer to the area, there's always something new to discover in Shandon. So come on in, and explore all that this vibrant neighborhood has to offer.

The neighborhood boundaries are Harden to Kilbourne and Devine to Rosewood.
